How Does PRIME CARE Screen and Select the Best Employees?

All Prime Care employees are insured, bonded, and extensively screened.  Every person we employ must meet the strictest standards of professional competency.  The majority of our employees have been with PRIME CARE for more than eight years. Our extensive screening process includes:

  • Complete reference checks
  • Pre-employment fingerprinting and criminal history record check
  • License and certification verification with yearly update
  • Pre-employment physical examination, with yearly update
  • Pre-employment in-services and skills competency testing

Throughout their employment, all personnel must continue to update their skills and meet in-service requirements.

Experienced and Supportive Administrative Staff

Prime Care is owner run and managed with the help of an administrative staff that is small and knows all the Prime Care employees personally.  The staff, including the owner and the Director of Nursing, who is a nurse practitioner, work together to know and understand the individual needs of all of our clients. 

We work collaboratively with patients, their representatives and family members, their doctors, and hospitals or nursing homes, when a discharge is taking place, to make sure every need is met.  Prime Care does not have an answering service or voicemail. When you call, a Prime Care employee answers the phone, even at nights, on weekends and during holidays.

Our highly trained field staff members consist of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides, Live-Ins, and Companions.  We can provide comprehensive home care service on a full or part time basis. Our staff members are committed to meeting your particular needs. Our nurses deliver the highest quality skilled nursing care, and our home health aides can assist you with all your activities of daily living.
